Before Getting Started: This electronic assessment will record your answers to a series of questions to help you identify your unique SHAPE profile. Your SHAPE assessment and profile will be most helpful if you follow your initial thoughts or impulses to guide your answers about who you are, not who you would like to be, or who think you ought to be--- so don’t overthink it! The assessment has two parts and will take approximately 25-40 minutes to complete, so please allow yourself enough time to complete the entire assessment as your results will not be saved if you come back later. Part 1 will explore your Heart/Passions, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences, and Part 2 will help you explore some Spiritual Gifts -- all of which God has shaped you with for ministry!

Once complete, you will be able to view your results and a summarized report of your SHAPE profile, which will include some insight or suggestions for how you might be especially gifted in your SHAPE to serve and minister to others. You will also be able to view some practical or current ways for you to connect with ministry opportunities using your SHAPE.

Problems or Questions? If you have any questions or issues throughout the assessment, or if you are unable to input your answers and see your profile results at the end, we would be happy to help you with that! Simple contact the Fellowship office at 501-327-3444 or email office@fellowshipconway.org and one of our ministry leaders or pastoral staff would love to connect with you to help you further process how you can apply your SHAPE to a ministry area at Fellowship or within our community.

- Colossians 3:23-24

The most impactful contribution that God has for you to make in ministering and serving others will align and compliment with the passions that He has given you for His kingdom and purposes.

YOUR PERSONALITY - YOUR UNCHANGING ORIENTATION TO LIFE

“Like stained glass, our different personalities reflect God’s light in many colors and patterns. This blesses the family of God with depth and variety. It also blesses us personally. It feels good to do what God made you to do. When you minister in a manner consistent with the personality God gave you, you experience fulfillment, satisfaction, and fruitfulness.”
- The Purpose Driven Life, By Rick Warren

Understanding the unique personality that God has given you will help you most effectively express your spiritual gifts, heart, and abilities for His sake. Your personality will also affect how and where you use your spiritual gifts and abilities. For instance, two people may have the same gift with evangelism, but if one is introverted and the other is extroverted, that gift will be expressed in different ways.

For the sake of this assessment, we are going to focus primarily on the aspects of your personality which drive how you are energized, how you relate, and how you are organized with tasks and when interacting with others.

YOUR EXPERIENCES - YOUR LIFE STORY SHAPED BY GOD

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose.” - Romans 8:28

You have been shaped by your experiences in life, most of which were beyond your control. God allowed them for His purpose of molding you. In determining your SHAPE for serving or how your experiences could bless others, consider these five kinds of experiences from your past:

- Ministry experiences: How have I served God in the past?

- Work experiences: What jobs or vocational experiences have I been most effective in and enjoyed the most?

- Educational experiences: What were my favorite subjects in school? What experiences have allowed me to develop and learn the most?

- Spiritual experiences: What have been my most meaningful times with God or matured me in my spiritual walk the most?

- Painful experiences: What trials, issues, hurts, thorns, and hang ups have I gone through and learned from which God can use to bless others?
